Silver Star Limousine is undertaking a comprehensive approach to environmental sustainability. Through our partnership with Green Ride Global, we have developed a corporate Environmental Policy that addresses the immediate and long-term environmental impacts of all aspects of our business operation. We have implemented an Environmental Management System that is ISO 14001 compliant and includes strategies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from fuel consumption, electricity use, supply purchases, waste disposal and employee travel. We have committed to GHG emissions reductions of at least 20 percent over the next 5 to 10 years. Green Ride Global will be auditing our progress in reaching these targets and reporting on the results.
Over the months ahead, we will continue to evaluate and integrate the latest in vehicle and alternative fuel technologies while maintaining our commitment to excellence in customer service.
